A Nigerian man has called on the federal government of Nigeria to rename the University of Lagos, UNILAG after late President Muhammadu Buhari.
This comes just days after the former president passed away at a hospital in London, UK.
Shortly after his remains were flown back to Nigeria in a military aircraft, the man identified as @TheoAbuAgada took to social media to make the suggestion.
He wrote: “UNILAG should be named after Buhari,” adding, “We must honor our ex-president.”
His statement sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians flooding the comment section to share their views on the proposal.
