The High Commission of Canada in Nigeria has provided a new update for Nigerians seeking to apply for its visa following explosion that occurred at its embassy in Abuja.
DAILY GIST reported on Monday that the Canadian embassy was gutted by a fire that killed two persons and injured two others.
The mission stated that visa application centres in Abuja and Lagos remained open to the public.
This was contained in a statement by Demilade Kosemani, Public Affairs Department, High Commission of Canada, Abuja, following the fire outbreak that affected a section of the building of the High Commission in Abuja, on Monday.

The explosion at a section of the building of the Canadian High Commission in Abuja on Monday killed two people including a local employee and left two others injured.
DAILY GIST reports that Global Affairs Canada had in a statement issued on Monday, said it would work with local authorities to determine the cause of the explosion.
