The Senate President of Nigeria, Godswill Akpabio on Tuesday has named the minority leaders of the 10th Senate of the National Assembly.
Akpabio named the minority principal officers after the Senate resumed plenary.
Ex-Rivers governor, Wike has been holding a series of meetings with Senate President Godswill Akpabio, pushing for a particular senator.
Former Sokoto governor, Tambuwal had also made known his interest in the minority leadership position.
However on Tuesday, Akpabio announced the new leaders of the minority caucus.
The minority leadership include;
Simon Mwadkon, Senate Minority Leader; Oyewumi Olalere, Senate Deputy Minority Leader; Darlington Nwokocha, Senate Minority Whip; Rufai Hanga, Senate Deputy Minority Whip.
