The vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo on Monday stopped his convoy to rescue people who had been involved in an auto crash along the airport road on Monday morning in Abuja.
Mr Osinbajo and his security aides were joined by other Nigerians to pull the victims from the vehicle, it was gathered.
DAILY GIST could not immediately ascertained the severity of the accident on the victims involved.
Mr Osinbajo’s spokesman Laolu Akande said the vice president was on his way to Ondo on a condolence visit and has proceeded on his trip.
