Three suspected criminals have been arrested by security operatives over alleged assassination attempt on benue state governor, Samuel Ortom
Recall that Ortom was last Saturday attacked by some gunmen along Tyo Mu, Makurdi, where they shoot sporadically on the governor’s convoy.
The three arrested are Jukun fishermen
Security Adviser to Ortom, Col. Paul Hemba, confirmed the arrest while conducting newsmen round the scene of the attack on Tuesday.
Hemba disclosed that the police team found the fishermen close to the scene of the attack and are being investigated.
