Terrorists suspected to be members of Boko Haram have attacked Zone 1 Police Headquarters along BUK Road in Kano state
According to security sources, the terrorists came in three vehicles on Friday afternoon and fired several shots at the building.
The source stated that security is currently being reinforced around the headquarters to frustrate attack by the terrorists.
Recall that the terrorists had attacked the same headquarters during the January 20, 2012 attacks, which left at least 185 people dead in the state.
There has been a series of killing and kidnapping incidents in many parts of the country especially, Abuja.
The daredevil gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram and ISWAP insurgents, causing havoc in many parts of the country have been on a rampage in the nation’s capital.
