A fresh report reaching DAILY GIST has shown that three people have been killed in a cult clash at Kolawole Area, Osogbo, Osun state, creating a serious tension among residents in the area

It was gathered that the alleged clash were reportedly to be among Aye and Axe cult groups who have been targeting each other as a means to settle prolonged ‘ego’ dispute between them.

Findings showed that the cultists attack and counter-attack in Osun, was the way cultists in the state prove supremacy over each other

Eye witnesses narrated that the cultists engaged in violent attacks on one another on Sunday morning with guns and cutlasses.

It was gathered that during the clash, three cultists were killed at Kolawole, Alie and Obalende areas. Other Residents in the area flee for safety as the cultists shot sporadically while chasing one another around.

Although, DAILY GIST as at the time of filling this report could not ascertain if three people killed were among the cultists or were innocent people.
