Some security operatives and unknown Gunmen suspected to be hoodlums are currently engaging in gun battle in imo state.
It was gathered that Orji police division located at Owerri area of Imo state has been set ablazed by the hoodlums.
According to report, The hoodlums were seen in red, black attire when they attacked the divisional police station and put it on fire.
Residents living in the area reportedly flee and scampered for safety.
But unfortunately a woman, who sold provisions at Hardel junction, Orji, near the scene of the incident was hit by the flying bullet in her shop and died instantly at the spot.
It was also learnt that a young lady who filming the incident was hit by a stray bullet on her leg and has been taken to near by hospital.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state has not reacted to the incident as at the time of filling this report.
Police stations and government facilities have always been targeted for attack by the unknown Gunmen in Imo state.
The police have always accused the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) but IPOB has consistently denied being responsible for the attacks.
