Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has surrendered himself to the Police, after being declared wanted.
The singer who was declared wanted by the police on Monday, surrendered himself today to the police at the SCID, in panti, Yaba.
He is currently being transported to Ogun State where he will be handed over to the police there.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the development on Wednesday.
“Portable just turned himself in at the SCID Yaba. We have contacted Ogun State Police Command to come pick him up,” Hundeyin stated.
Portable, had on Tuesday, claimed that he is a “madman” receiving treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta.
He made the statement while pleading with Nigerians and the Ogun State Government following the police’s declaration of him as a wanted individual.
The singer had allegedly, assaulted three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office.
