Youths recruited as Constabularies into the Nigeria Police Force to complement the police in maintaining Security in Osun state on wednesday staged a protest in Osogbo over non payment of 18 months salary owed them by the government.
The protesters who dressed in black police uniform took their grievances to areas of Osogbo the state capital such as Olaiya, Okefia and Alakuwodo.
Video of the protest in the state was made made available to DAILY GIST on Wednesday.
The police constables complained that they have not been paid 18months salary by the state government.
DAILY GIST could not immediately reach the Osun Police spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opolola for comment on the the development.
