Some party agents on Saturday have been seen fighting over money that was meant to be shared with voters in the Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti state.
DAILY GIST reports that operatives of EFCC had been deployed in Ekiti state to monitor the governorship election with a view to addressing the possibility of vote buying.
Inspite of this, vote-buying was going on in some of the polling units according to a video obtained by DAILY GIST on Saturday.
It was gathered that some party officials were lamenting that money meant to be shared in their polling unit was not disbursed.
At PU 011 Anglican Primary School, Ward 10 Oke Ayedun, Ikole Local Government Area, officials of ADP were seen quarrelling over money that was meant to be shared with voters.
A woman in a video obtained said they were supposed to share N50,000 with voters in that polling unit but got nothing yet while a nearby polling unit was given N40,000 to share with voters.
An agent of one of the leading political parties was also sighted bringing money to a polling unit.
Voters were seen moving close to him immediately after he arrived at the polling unit.
