There is currently a serious tension in Okuku town in Odo-Otin Local Government, Osun State as some suspected armed robbers with AK-47 and other dangerous weapons attack a Wema bank in the area.
DAILY GIST gathered that nolmacy has not been returned to the community as the operation is still going on as at the time of filling this report.
It was also gathered that a man identified to be an okada rider was killed during the operation
The Osun State Police Command spokesperson, Mrs Yemisi Opalola, also confirmed the incident.
She said, “The Commissioner of Police, Mr Olawale Olokode, has led a team of police to the scene of the crime to dislodge the armed robbers and for possible arrest.”
