The management of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Osun state has fixed a date to decide the mode of conduct for second semester, DAILY GIST is exclusively reporting.
According to the institution’s registrar, Mrs. Magret Omosule, the university senate will decide on the mode of conduct for the remaining part of 2019/2020 session on June 16th, 2021.
She disclosed this in an exclusive chat with DAILY GIST on Thursday.
She noted that the senate has the final on whether the university will fully resume physical classes or continue with the online classes as a result of COVID-19.
Omosule added that the resumption date for second semester would also be announced after the senate meeting.
DAILY GIST had reported that the institution as a result of COVID-19 pandemic commence 2019/2020 academic session on February 8th for students online with the exception of some students in Faculty of Pharmacy, College of Health Sciences, and in the Faculty of Agriculture.
The management on March 6th, 2021 however announced phase resumption for students doing practicals before the commencement of examinations.
