Barely two months after the death of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, one of his wives, Olori Kafayat, has also died on Friday.
Although details of her death is yet to be made public, DAILY GIST reliably gathered that Olori kafayat died in the late hours of Friday.
Olori Kafayat Adeyemi, who was the fourth Olori of the late Oba Adeyemi III, was the mother of Prince Adebayo Adeyemi (D’Gov), who is the chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pensions Board.
Before her demise, she was popularly known as Iya Aguo or Iya Ibeji in Oyo Kingdom.
DAILY GIST recalls that the late Alaafin on April 22 had also died in the late hours of Friday at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State.
The monarch was the longest serving Alafin of Oyo.
