The Minister of Information, Alhai Lai Mohamed has broken his silence on the report of EndSARS Panel in Lagos state.
Lai dismissed the report submitted by the Lagos State EndSARS panel on Police Brutality to Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu
He described the report as fake which did not follow the evidence at hand.
He made this known at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday while addressing Journalists
Lai said it was shocking that the same allegations made by Nigerians were merely compiled and submitted as a report by the panel set up to investigate the claims of police brutality.
He noted the report, which indicted the Nigerian army, police and Lekki Concession Company, is filled with errors and contradictions.
The panel said the attack by Nigerian security forces “could in context be described as a massacre”. But Mohammed maintained that the government believed there was no massacre.
