A fresh report reaching DAILY GIST has indicated that some unknown Gunmen suspected to be hoodlums have attacked police officers in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was gathered that a patrol van was set ablaze during the attack and a police officer was also killed.
The Police Spokeperson in the state, confirmed the attack on Wednesday
He added that some suspects in connection with the attack have been arrested.
Police stations and government facilities have always been targeted for attack by the unknown Gunmen in the south
The police have always accused the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) but IPOB has consistently denied being responsible for the attacks.
