Some unknown gunmen on Sunday have reportedly killed six people along Ife/Ibadan road, Wasinmi, Osun State.
DAILY GIST gathered that the six people killed were Fulani herdsmen, members of the same family.
The attack reportedly caused serious panic and fear in the area as the unknown Gunmen were shooting sporodically in the village
The security agencies including Police operatives, men of Oodua Peoples Congress and Hunters Group of Nigeria were said to have been deployed in the bush where the incident occurred to return nolmacy and fish out the perpetrators.
Osun Police Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident, saying all the deceased were members of the same family.
The PPRO described the incident as unfortunate and vowed that the culprits would be arrested and brought to book.
