Some yet-to-be identified Gunmen have attacked a prison in owerri, Imo state on Wednesday.
The gunmen according to reports kill two warders during the attack while others were rushed to the hospital.
It was gathered that the attack which happened at the Umulolo session of the town in the morning caused panic in the area.
Eyewitnesses said the attackers threw dynamites on their vehicles and destroyed one Hilux van
The unaffected van was said to have been rescued and returned to base at the command’s headquarters in Owerri.
The spokesperson for the command, Goodluck Uboegbulem is yet to react to the incident as at the time of filling this report.
