Edwin Clark, a former minister of finance has passed away at the age of 97.
Clark is the leader of The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) in the south-south region of the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta state, said the ex-senator died on Monday, February 17.
The statement reads “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February, 2025. The family appreciates your prayers at this time. Other details will be announced later by the family.”
His demise is coming days after Afenifere leader Ayo Adebanjo’s death. Adebanjo was aged 96.
