BREAKING: COVID-19 Vaccination Begins In Nigeria (Photos, Video)

Nigeria has finally kicked off COVID-19 Vaccination today, March 5th 2021. The National primary Health Care Development Agency made this known in a post on his Twitter handle.

A Nigerian doctor, Dr. Cyprian Nyong made history in the country by becoming the first person to take the AstraZeneca/Oxford coronavirus vaccine today.

DAILY GIST gathered that Nyong works at the National Hospital, Abuja.

The commencement of the vaccination was flagged off by the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari.
