DAILY GIST had earlier reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday morning arraigned the suspended Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris and 3 others on 14 count charge of stealing and criminal breach of trust.
The EFCC said Idris and his co-defendants are indicted on a 14-count charge of stealing and criminal breach of trust to the tune of N109.5 billion.
The case which was brought before an Abuja High Court, has been adjourned till 27th July for a hearing of bail application.
Idris and two others have been ordered to be remanded in prison.
