The independent national electoral commission, INEC has suspended the collation of results in Ife East LGA following disruption of activities by suspected thugs.
The identities of the hoodlums could not be immediately ascertained but security operatives are trying to restore nolmacy in the area.
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke, has taken an early lead in the ongoing Osun gubernatorial election, DAILY GIST reports.
As at the time of filling this report, counting is still ongoing by INEC.
There are a total of 1,955,657 registered voters in the election which held across 3,763 polling units
