Chaos has been reported in Osogbo, Osun state as Police officer reportedly shot dead, a truck driver on Friday.
The deceased who was driving a Shekeena Global borehole drilling a truck was brutalized before he was shot dead at the Ota-Efun area Osogbo.
The driver and his crew were alleged to have blocked the road while trying to fix the vehicle before the police officers reached the place
According to an eyewitness, the driver was brutalized and gun-down by the police officers in the act.
DAILY GIST gathered that angry residents took the body of the victim to police station in Otefun to protest against the incident.
The policemen, it was learnt fired tear gas to disperse the protesters.
The spokesperson of Osun state police command, SP Yemisi Opalola could not be reached for comments as at the time of filing this report
