Two buses have been reportedly collide along iseyin-Ibadan road killing at least 18 passengers.
The incident occurred in the late hours of Saturday.
The number of people who lost their lives has not been ascertained as at the time of filing this report, DAILY GIST however gathered that at least 18 people have reportedly lost their lives in the incident.
It was learnt that other people who survived the incident have been rushed to a private hospital in iseyin.
The 65km Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin road, which was recently rehabilitated, was commissioned by the Oyo government in June 2021.
The accident occurred close to Kraal market along the route.
The State Police command and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) could not be immediately reached for reaction on the incident.
All efforts made by DAILY GIST to get comments from Spokesperson of Police command in Oyo, Mr Adewale Osifeso were unsuccessful.
