The Department of State Services, DSS, has grilled the suspended chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
This is coming following his suspension by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday.
President Tinubu gave the approval for Bawa’s suspension to allow for a proper investigation into his conduct while in office.
The spokesperson of the secret police, Peter Afunanya made this known in a statement on Wednesday night.
Bawa, it was learnt is currently in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
The statement reads: “The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Bawa arrived a few hours ago.”
“The invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him.”
