Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Sunday have abducted babies, nurses in an hospital in Zaria area of Kaduna State.
The hospital was identified to be National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre in Zaria,Kaduna state.
DAILY GIST reliably gathered that five staff of the hospital, including female nurses were abducted together with their children.
The bandits before whisking away their victims reportedly engaged police officers nearby the hospital in a heavy gunbattle.
The attack on the Police Division was aimed at stopping them from rescuing the victims at the staff quarters.

While DAILY GIST could not actually ascertain the actual number of people abducted as at the time of publishing this report, it was however gathered that at least ten people were taken away by the attackers.
The Kaduna State Police Command Public Relation Officer, Mohammed Jalige confirmed the incident, adding that security operatives are currently trying their efforts to rescue the victims.
