The National Executive Committee NEC of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has announced new national chairman of the party
APC NEC on Thursday confirmed the appointment of the immediate-past Governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman of the party.
It also appointed Senator Basiru Ajibola as the Party’s Secretary.
The appointment was announced at its 12th NEC meeting held on Thursday in Abuja.
President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and members of the Progressive Governors were all present at the meeting.
Members of the party in the National Assembly and APC chieftains were also on ground.
Addressing the 12th NEC of the party, the President said the APC has won the elections and it is now time to deliver the promises of good governance to the Nigerian people.
The President insisted that the 2023 elections was the best election in Nigeria’s history.
