The Kaduna state government has revealed that out of unspecified number of female students abducted earlier today, 172 have been rescued while many are still missing.
Samuel Aruwan, the state commissioner for internal security and home affairs, disclosed this in a statement made available to Journalist on Friday. He added that eight staff were also freed from the bandits.
He, however, added that 30 students are still unaccounted for.
DAILY GIST had earlier reported that the students were abducted when the bandits stormed the school in the early hours of Friday. It was gathered that only the female students were single handedly kidnapped.
