The former Lagos state governor and national leader of All Progressives Party (APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu will on Thursday return to Lagos state University,LASU to deliver the 25th convocation lecture of the institution.
According to the Vice chancellor of the institution, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the university is convocating 112 First Class graduates.
He disclosed this while briefing journalists on activities lined up for the institution’s 25th convocation ceremonies.
Asiwaju Tinubu will deliver a paper titled: “Global Trends: Nigeria’s Rightful Place in the World”.
The Vice chancellor noted that other activities lined up for the convocation are the conferment of Emeritus status on Distinguished Professor Peter Okebukola.
Other events for the convocation include honourary awards to be conferred on the Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullah I Umar Ganduje, Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, and Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigeria in Diaspora Commission.
Others are Chief Goodie Ibru, Chairman, Ikeja Hotels and Mrs Ibunkunoluwa Awosika, Fou der/CEO, The Chair Centre, Lekki, Lagos.
