The Nigerian government led by President Bola Tinubu has opened portal to receive applications for National Poverty Eradication Programme, NAPEP
The initiative is aimed to address poverty in Nigeria and related issues.
NAPEP is concerned with the transformation of the society in its totality, making nigerians the primary focus of its development. More specifically, it aims ultimately at the maximum improvement of the material, cultural, social and political wellbeing of the society.
Benefits
All selected beneficiaries will receive a monthly stipend of ₦100,000 paid by National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP) subject to achieving planned results for each month.
Eligibility Criteria
● Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
● Must have National Identification number NIN as a valid form of identification to be validated with NIMC.
● Must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
● Must have at the point of this application obtained at least the The O-Level (Ordinary Level) subject-based qualification conferred as part of the General Certificate of Education.
The deadline for the application is June 30, 2025.
