Politics, it is said is the authoritative allocation of values. These values are both tangible and intangible.
With profound respect to prominent leaders of Edo north, starting with our revered leader, Adams Oshiomhole, Rep. Anamero Dekeri, Minister Momoh, Julius Ihonvbere, Jarret Tenebe, Peter Akpatason, etc, l wish to register my avowed displeasure over the recent appointments being made by the newly sworn-in Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo.
My displeasure stems from the observation of neglect of the ‘golden zone that laid the golden eggs’ without involvement of a formidable son of Afemai to occupy the exalted office of Secretary To the State Government (SSG)/Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Governor by way of political equation balancing to the three zones- Edo Central (Governor), Edo South (Deputy Governor) and Edo North (SSG and CoS).
While respecfully appealing to the Governor and Edo North leaders to so act accordingly for swift reconsideration, l am confident that l am voicing the minds of the over 135,000 APC voters who trooped out on September 21st to cast their votes to curtain this impending marginalization.
