President Bola Tinubu has appointed Saviour Enyiekere as the chairman and members for the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC).
A statement issued on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy, said Enyiekere will serve for a five-year term which may be renewed.
Until his appointment, Enyiekere, an environmental specialist, was the deputy chief of staff to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Tinubu also approved the appointment of two commission members from each of the six geopolitical zones.
Onanuga added that like the chairperson, members of the commission will serve for a five-year term which is renewable.
The newly appointed commission members from the six geopolitical zones are listed below.
