Gunmen suspected to be bandits in a fresh operation have attacked Gwagwada community, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State reportedly killing and kidnapping many people.
It was gathered that the gunmen stormed a Baptist church at Lukuru village and another church where members traditionally wear white garments at Gwagwada road in the early hours of Wednesday.
A lot of other people reportedly flee and scampered for safety as the Gunmen started shooting sporadically.
During the attack, DAILY GIST learnt that two people were killed instantly while many others sustained various injuries
According to eyewitness during the attack, unspecified number of people were also abducted by the gunmen.
It added that a church was burnt down completely by the bandits.
There have been recents attack of Gunmen in kaduna state as the bandits now operate freely on a daily basis. The state governor, Nasir El-rufai had declared that it’s government would not negotiate or surrender to bandits terrorizing the state.
Insecurity has continued to be a challenge in almost all the states in the country with many calling for president Buhari resignation or impeachment
