The popular plastic market in Onitsha, Anambra State in the early hours Friday has been gutted by fire leading to the loss of many properties.
DAILY GIST is yet to affirm the cause of the fire outbreak but it was gathered that no loss of life or injury occured during the outbreak.
Police operatives led by DPO CPS Onitsha SP Ifeanyi Iburu quickly mobilized to the scene and cordoned off the Area to prevent looting and further catastrophe. The state Fire Service was equally contacted and they responded promptly to put out the fire.
The cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be revealed as at the time of publishing this report.
